My favorite Lakedistrict "cam websites, next to the original Lakeland Cam, are: Mad about Mountains www.keswick.u-net.com/ldp.htmand Striding Edge www.stridingedge.net/I noticed that the author of Striding Edge is a member of this forum. Great pics, Sean. I visit these sites everyday to see what's new: what was the weather like, which area was photographed this time. From these sites I get my inspiration to plan my next visit to the Lake District.

Thanks for that Theo, glad you like the site. I've had a couple of interesting walks out this weekend in less popular areas of Lakes but still areas which I would call AoOB. The Dunnerdale Fells and The Duddon Valley are particular favourites of mine and relativelt 'people free'.

Anyone know a cam site with regular updates of the Yorkshire Dales?
I have been there on a cycle tour in 1978 and when walking the Pennine Way in 1981 I crossed a large part of the Dales. In 2003 I did a 6 day walk in the Dales. As you see the Dales have a great attraction to me.
