After Easter me and my friends are planning a bike trip across the shropshire hills we will be sleeping rough with no tent (unless it rains). We will be staying on 4 major shropshire hills. First the largest The Brown Clee, Then the highest hill fort in shropshire Caer Caradoc, Then the Stiperstones and finally The Long Mynd. We have to miss the Wrekin because of time. It will only be less than 60 miles overall (i think).
Also In the second week I will be doing bush craft survial. I will update this when the events are done and tell u lot about them.

Good luck with your trip. I like the sound of the bushcraft survival venture. Who's running it, Ray Mears? I look forward to hearing about it.

Well my friend owns a few fields, a wood and a river. My other friend is really into surival stuff and is doing it for his d of e award. So we are in the making of a shelter it just needs a floor, we have got a toilet, washing line and fire place all made from stuff in the wood. We will be staying there for about 3 days using survial skills from a ray mears book. We will fish, hunt and forage for food (so basically I'm gonna starve to death).

We managed the first day of the bike trip and I got about 5 hours sleep on the brown clee, the next day (yesterday) we continued to church stretton where one friend left through back pains. We then continued up caer caradoc as planned but it rained heavily and everything got soaked so it had to be called off. I don't know how but I have bukled my bike wheel now.
I will tell you about the bushcraft week after next week when it has been done.

Sadly we left on the bushcraft trip yesterday but by morning everything was soaked we had had only 4 hour sleep and decided if the weather wasn't going to hold up we should leave. So we are now doing the trip in the summer.
