During my next trip to the Lake District my mate and I plan to wild camp. Two nights in Upper Eskdale (Great Moss and Little Narrowcove) and one night on Kirk Fell. For me this is a new experience. I hope for great weather in June with a lovely sunset high in the mountains and in the morning mist in the dales. It will propably rain. Has anyone experience in wild camping in the Lake District and what advise can you give me?

No But I have experienced wild camping in the shropshire hills and a shropshire wood. In the shropshire hills we decided to sleep without a tent (for fun) but at 12 midnight the wind had picked up so we had to put up our tent it was freezing. I advise lots of warm clothes in layers and a good mummy bag. I have learnt from bad experiences only wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

You could always use a bivvy bag rather than a tent .
