My favourite area is Elterwater and the Great Langdale Valley (this is where I spend most of my time). I also like Tarn Howe, Hawkshead and Grasmere. What r ur favourite places?

I too like Great Langdale area. Although the campsite can get noisy, I enjoy camping at the National Trust site there.
As for walking, I guess my LEAST favourite walk is Skiddaw. I enjoy walking the Langdale Pikes and the Newlands Horseshoe. Glendridding is my least favourite climb, though this is worthwhile to get in Striding Edge and Swirrel Edge.
If I am wanting a "lazy day", then a short walk to the old mine workings on Coniston can keep be entertained - although an eye-sore, it is part of our heritage and I am fascinated by such places.

Have a look in the south west if you ever want peace and solitude - The Dunnerdale Fells, Upper Eskdale and Birker Fell are all brilliant places where I often go. Harter Fell (Eskdale) has the best views of the Scafell range bar none IMO.
